Hocus Locust

Plop, plop, plop, plop. The plopping and gurgling sound the Arbogast Jitterbug makes as it is retrieved across the top of the water has been instantly recognizable by anglers for well over a half of a century. The plop is definitely not a flop. The metal lip that was originally designed with two spoons in 1938 made the Jitterbug a standard of the industry.

That same lip is now available in clear plastic with the introduction of the Arbogast Hocus Locust. The Hocus Locust combines two irresistible features for fish: a locust body with a Jitterbug style lip.

This lip gives the Hocus Locust the sound and appearance of a locust attempting to free itself from the water. At 1 ¾", the Hocus Locust is the right size to attract all specie of gamefish.
